The Warriors Learn-to-Play Hockey clinic is a preparatory program designed to teach new and returning players 4-10 years old proper skating and introductory hockey skills. This program is for players who have completed a Learn to skate or learn to play hockey program in the past. All sessions take place at the Northford Ice Pavilion.

Open to all 2019-20 Warriors travel players, Mites to Bantams, looking to keep their skills sharp for the summer.
• The first 1/2 hour will focus on a technical skating lesson including edges, crossovers, backward skating, turns, pivots, and body control. We will also focus on forward and backward stride development, stop and starts and hockey specific skating.
• The second 1/2 hour will focus on puck and stick skills and hockey skills. These skills will include, but not limited to, passing, shooting, skating with the puck, stick handling, and puck battles. Stay in shape for the upcoming season.
6 one-hour sessions run Sundays beginning July 7th at 9:00 am at Northford Ice Pavilion
This program is designed for boys and girls making the transition from learn-to-skate and learn-to-play hockey programs to a more team-oriented, skill development hockey league.
The Warriors half-ice USA Hockey ADM format focuses on player’s ice awareness, skill development, and most importantly fun as they begin their journey in hockey. The focus in practice is on the fundamentals: skating, stick handling, shooting, and hockey IQ in a safe and fun environment. There are no tryouts for Mite Development. All players sign up and are evaluated at the beginning of the season before they are split into four teams.
